North Devon Remembers
Those who died in the Service of their Country

Help for Heroes was launched, by Bryn and Emma Parry, on 1 October 2007.
They wanted to do something for the men and women of our Armed Forces who have been wounded while serving in the current conflicts in Iraq and Afghanistan.
They asked the Chief of the General Staff for a task, and were told they could best help by raising money to provide a much needed swimming pool and gymnasium complex at Headley Court.
H4H is non political and does not wish to comment on the rights or wrongs of a particular conflict; they simply want to do something to help those very special people who are brave enough to volunteer to serve their country and are wounded while doing so.
They have received the most wonderful reaction from the public and are well on the way to raising the initial target of £6 million. Once they have done that, they intend to ask for a further task and hope that the British public will demonstrate its support for our men and women by continuing to donate to H4H.
This is our opportunity to show we care, appreciate and support all our Servicemen and women.
