North Devon Remembers
Those who died in the Service of their Country
The 16th North Devon Festival of Remembrance Concert, to be held in favour of the Army Benevolent Fund and the Royal British, will be staged at the Queen’s Theatre, Barnstaple, on Sunday
31st October 2010: commencing at 2.30 pm.
The concert will feature:
The Band of the Royal Corps of Signals
The Barnstaple Youth Marching Band
The Service & Act of Remembrance will be officiated by the Bishop of Crediton, The Rt. Reverend Robert Evens, and the concert to be presented by John Coates from BBC Radio Devon.
Since its conception 16 years ago, the concert has be organised by Colonel’ Tony Hare and Desmond Whiting - whose combined regular Army service is approximately 60 years.
