British  Armed Forces have served in Afghanistan since the allied invasion in 2001, and it was with the deepest regret we learned that two member of the  1st Royal Anglian Regiment died of their wounds sustained in Helmand Province on:

16th March, 2010.

We would like to convey our sincerest condolences to the families, friends & colleagues concerned.

Tragically, this brings the total number “Killed in Action” to:

Those who have died in the service of their country were extraordinary individuals doing an extraordinary task, and they paid the ultimate price.

We should also remember that they were also son’s, brothers, husband’s and fathers; sister’s daughters and wives, but, they were  still willing to put their lives at risk, so that others might live in peace and democracy.

We shall remember them for their devotion to duty, their undoubted courage and determination in the face of the enemy, and their totally unselfish sacrifice.

Neither should we forget the sacrifice made by our allies.: particularly, the USA, Canada and Australia.

It is extremely poignant!
